Moonlight

A fragment of moonlight scatters
across a void of deceased blindness
dimly shooting into the soul
a frolic message in silent inklings.
Roaming onward unfaded, expressive,
luminaries from heaven unite.
Reflecting upon an outer charge,
its bountiful spark originates from within.

When we open our eyes for the first time, dark objects come into view first. Then almost instantaneuosly, white or lighter objects follow to create the contrast we require for our minds to view the object. Once the object is clear, the colors begin to amass. Reds and warmer tones pop into view, then shortly following are the blues, greens and cooler tones.
